R&D AND FACILITIES
One of our key competitive advantages is our excellent commercial R&D capability, supported by our in-house laboratory with analytical testing performed by registered independent facilities. R&D is often carried out in conjunction with our customers and we work closely - and confidentially - with many marketers to produce the right product at the right price.

Products and processes are developed with our customers who may patent to protect their IP. Recent products developed and produced commercially include a standardised blackcurrant powdered extract, high in anthocyanin content and also a bee pollen powdered extract which is more bio available and less allergenic.

A major strength is our ability to move the development of new products from initial research in our laboratory to pilot scale production and then full commercial production, all on-site.
Extracts NZ's on-site laboratory, staffed by qualified personnel, means Quality Assurance can be monitored and controlled at all stages of manufacture. All incoming raw herbs and materials used for ENZ products must meet our quality standards before being released for operational use. Both in-house and external independent testing, assuring impartial test results, are performed on all finished product.
